Thistle establishes professional liability practice with new hire
Thistle Insurance Services, a member of the Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) Group, has appointed Zahid Naqvi, as director of its professional liability practice.
James Gerry, CEO, Thistle, said: "Since the launch of Thistle in 2008, we have always stated we will not underwrite classes without the requisite underwriting skills and talent needed to create a meaningful offering. The appointment of Zahid means we can now build a relevant professional liability practice covering the underwriting for professional indemnity, directors' and officers' and related product lines."
Mr Naqvi joins from Hiscox where he was head of underwriting partnerships
