The Scottish Premier League (SPL) has appointed Bluefin as its nominated insurance broker to place its central programme for member clubs including Celtic, Rangers and Dundee United.

The purchased insurance programme deal also includes the SPL’s own property and liability policies.

Steve McGuinness, MD of Bluefin sports division, said: “We’re honoured to be appointed by the SPL to place their insurance programmes. It’s a complex piece of work we were appointed by drawing on the experience of our well-established team to get the best deal we possibly could. They are a prestigious client and we are committed to giving them and their members a superior service.”
