Ecclesiastical announces new CEO for Australian business

Specialist insurer Ecclesiastical has appointed Andrew Moon as the new chief executive officer for its Australian business, Ansvar Insurance.

Earlier this year former CEO John Peberdy announced his retirement from the business after 37 years.

According to the insurer, Mr Moon joins after holding leadership roles in financial and corporate services businesses in Australia and overseas including life insurer Tower Life's Australian operations, Colonial State Bank, First Chicago's Australian operations and merchant bank Wardley Hong Kong.
