L&G creates insurance sales and marketing role

Legal & General has announced the appointment of Gary Pickering to the new role of sales & marketing director for its general insurance business.

Mr Pickering  joins Legal & General from his previous position as sales director at Chelsea Building Society.

Peter Graham (pictured), MD for Legal & General’s general insurance business, said: “The general insurance business is already showing great success in producing profitable year on year growth and the majority of that business is through our intermediaries/business partners.

"We are extremely pleased that Gary has joined the general insurance team as we will benefit from Gary’s wealth
