Over the last few months I have had the opportunity to meet with many brokers at both the UK Broker Summit and at the broker forums we are holding around the UK.

A number of consistent themes have emerged, writes Mark Cliff, managing director of Fortis. Firstly, there is a view that 2010 will be tougher than last year, as clients start to feel the pinch in a difficult economic climate, and face uncertainty in the run up to a general election.
