Towergate raids HSBC for new managing director
Caravan and park homes broker Towergate Bakers has announced the appointment of Simon Townsend as its managing director.
Mr Townsend makes the move from HSBC where he was the UK national sales director for their commercial division.
He previously held a number of senior positions in HSBC’s broking businesses. Before joining HSBC Mr Townsend managed a large call centre at Aviva.
Mr Townsend said, “I’m delighted to be joining Towergate Bakers at an exciting time where we have a number of new and exciting initiatives planned for 2010. What’s more it’s great to be supported by a strong management team in Cheltenham
