NFU Mutual appoints new director
Actuary Chris Ide has held CEO posts at Swiss Life and Royal London
Large rural insurer NFU Mutual has announced the appointment of Chris Ide to its board of directors.
A long-term supporter of the mutual movement, Mr Ide is an actuary who has held chief executive roles in leading financial services organisations. These include chief executive of Swiss Life (UK) between 1989 and 1997; managing director, Europe, of Swiss Life between 1997 and 2000 and chief executive of Royal London's retail business between 2000 and 2004.
