Hastings fights fraud
Broker to launch new anti-fraud technology in New Year
Hastings Direct and its brands Renew, Insure.co.uk, and Likewise are investing in technology in a bid to tackle fraud.
The new technology goes live in the New Year and Hastings Direct said that this combined with scrutinising customers’ claims histories, vehicle details, and customer identities, as well as employing former members of police forces to investigate dubious accidents, its broker anti-fraud team (BAT) plans to reduce premiums.
The company said that stringent claims data checking
