Willis hires new MD
Michiel Bakker will be responsible for developing Willis Capital Markets and Advisory unit in Europe
Willis Group Holdings has appointed Michiel Bakker has been appointed MD and head of Europe for its Willis Capital Markets and Advisory unit.
The unit was formed earlier this year to expand the broker’s capital markets and merger and acquisitions advisory services to the insurance and reinsurance industry.
Based in London, Mr Bakker will be responsible for developing the business in Europe and will report to Tony Ursano, CEO, Willis Capital Markets and Advisory.
