Current managing director, Bob Parkins, to return to his own brokerage

Purple Partnership, the Jelf-owned broker network, has appointed commercial director Les Brewin as managing director.

He will take over from Bob Parkins, who Purple said is making a planned return to his own brokerage, PSP Insurance & Financial Solutions – Purple’s first member.

Mr Parkins has been MD of Purple since its launch in January 2008 and will continue his involvement with the network in a non-executive capacity.

FCA warns on Tempcover clone

The Financial Conduct Authority has issued a warning of fraudsters trying to scam people by pretending to be short-term car insurance specialist broker Tempcover including on TikTok.

Brokers push for more from RSA/NIG
