RMS: 1,300 properties affected by UK floods
RMS said costs could vary depending on the mix of residential and commercial claims
Following flooding in parts of the UK, Risk Management Solutions (RMS) predicts that if all claims are residential it will cost £45-60m while if 75% are residential and 25% commercial it will cost £80-105m.
RMS said that 1,300 properties have been affected by flooding, with 500 of those in Cockermouth, Cumbria.
It said: “Floodwaters in Cumbria are subsiding in the aftermath of last week’s extreme rainfall. The floodwaters affecting the Cumbrian towns of Cockermouth, Keswick, Workington
