Final countdown to the PB Management Event

The first full-day PB Management Event will take place on 15 October at Victoria Park Plaza, just a few minutes from London's Victoria station.

Speakers at the free event include Mike Crane, commercial director at LV Broker, Jeff Herdman, managing director at Oval, Graeme Leach, chief economist at the Institute of Directors, and many more.

Broker managers will also be able to participate in seminar sessions, ask the speakers questions in an interactive panel debate and network at a post-event drinks reception.

In the lead up to the event, PB has carried out broker roundtables in Glasgow and Birmingham (see pp.29-31) to find out the day-to-day issues facing managers in these challenging economic times.

Participants highlighted areas such as communicating with staff, helping struggling clients and dual pricing as being high on their agendas.

Michael Ennis, partner at Distinct Business Consulting, will be speaking about the need to balance short-term priorities against long-term growth, and how to take costs out of your business without damaging relationships with customers.
