Editor Michelle Worvell bids farewell to the market after eight years

It has been eight years since I first became acquainted with Insurance Age, when my recruitment consultant asked me what I knew about the sector. My reply? "Well I have car insurance!" And it seems that this was enough to secure me an interview for the role of features editor on the magazine.

 

I must admit, I wasn't sure how exciting writing about insurance was going to be but the editor assured me it was a very friendly and sociable industry. And they were right.

Aviva doubling down for customers, says Martin

Aviva is committed to pushing on with an “absolute focus on customer” and will continue “doubling down”, David Martin, managing director for UK commercial and chief distribution officer, told Insurance Age as he teased a “major new proposition” pencilled in for the end of the third quarter will catch brokers’ eyes.
