Towergate has launched Towergate Coverex in order to target the events and media insurance space. The business combines Woodgates and Coverex International along with some existing specialisms across the broker. The new Towergate Coverex team of 33 will be headed by John Harrison who was formerly chief executive of Woodgates, the events and exhibitions insurance broker that Towergate acquired in February 2008.
