David Lamb has been appointed head of agriculture at CGU, where hewill be dealing with FarmWeb, the farm insurance specialist which has 60
intermediary members in the UK. Mr Lamb, joined General Accident in 1969,
moved to its Perth headquarters in 1988 as an underwriting manager, later
becoming property manager with special responsibilities for market
segmentation, terrorism and crime. Before taking up his current
appointment, he was responsible for the company's construction account.
