reading, and as an insurance practitioner with 37 years' experience in
commercial insurance and risk management, I want to add some key risk
management points that I feel may be of value - particularly to regional
brokers.


Risk management reduces premiums. Commission earnings diminish
accordingly.


This reduction in commission need not be a disaster. With the right
staffing and the right risk management approach it can be made to
work.
