Independent insurance and financial services broker Smart and Cook Group has opened a new office in Newcastle, in the next stage of its bid to expand across the UK.The 17-strong team will be based in the revitalised Grainger Town area of the city, providing commercial insurance and financial services to local businesses and professions. The operation is divided into two teams, lead by directors Denis James (insurance) and Peter Newel (financial services).
