Lloyd's is opening a west-coast office in the US to develop its business in the region. The office, based in Los Angeles, aims to enhance the Lloyd's trading platform in California, Oregon, Washington and Arizona. Tony Joseph, senior vice president at Guy Carpenter & Company in California, has been appointed to head the office and serve as senior vice president of Lloyd's America.
