Chief executive of Oval Phillip Hodson told Professional Broking he expects three or four buys to be completed by the end of the year, although he does not expect any 'big' deals soon, citing unrealistic price expectations. Hodson said Oval is continuing to look closely at the Scottish market, especially in Edinburgh and Glasgow, following the consolidator's acquisition of Glasgow-based £7m gross written premium Service Miller.
