Marsh chief executive officer, Bruce Carnegie-Brown, has lambasted the 'socialist bias in European legislation', which he claims is creating an unlevel playing-field for the senior management of UK corporate clients.

He also warned of the worsening consequences of increased litigation as a result and added that, due to present and proposed legislation, UK corporate clients face greater risks if they are sued than those faced by their US counterparts.
