Hiscox is set to open a Manchester office by the end of next year, according to sources close to the insurer. It is expected that six underwriters will be stationed at the branch by the end of 2006. Hiscox also has offices in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Maidenhead and Colchester.
