As investigations continue into the latest air disasters to hit New
York and Zurich, the insurance industry is wondering whether things could
get any worse. In particular, these recent air crashes will hit the
beleaguered travel insurance industry hard. Confidence has already been
badly affected and with air safety in the headlines, even fewer people
will want to take holidays abroad.

FCA headcount rises to 5,510
