DAS has won the contract to underwrite legal expenses insurance for
CIS household contents policyholders. The extra cover will be added free
to every new contents policy and rolled into existing covers when they are
renewed. DAS will provide bespoke cover, based on its family legal
protection policy. CIS has chosen the £50,000 level of cover, which
applies to non-motor injury claims, employment, consumer and property
disputes. Policyholders will also have access to a 24-hour legal advice
helpline.
