Burglars are costing small and medium sized businesses over three billion pounds a year according to a study commissioned by Norwich Union.
The study also revealed that approximately one SME in two has been burgled in the past five years at an average cost of over £3000 per burglary, a statistic which has led to the vast majority of SMEs being in favour of more CCTVs on streets and in business parks.
