Colonia Baltica is pulling out of UK property, engineering, andliability business, following the sale of Axa Colonia's shares in the
company to Danish company Tryg-Baltica Insurance.
Tryg-Baltica previously had a 50% shareholding in Colonia Baltica and is
now the sole shareholder in the company. The Danish insurer said it is
looking to enhance its position as a London market insurance and
reinsurance company, and will eventually integrate Colonia's non-UK
business into its own structure.
