Independent Insurance has moved its claims handling operations to itscentre in Cheadle and is reporting a 30% improvement in claims handling
times. The Cheadle unit now deals with all personal lines, regional
commercial and schemes claims. The unit is headed up by Guy Summerfield,
and is supported by several regional claims traders and branch staff.
