Suffolk-based broker the Beckett Group has bought King's Lynn insurance firm Eastward Insurance Services. This is the fourth acquisition in the last 18 months by Beckett, and increases its presence in East Anglia.
Eastward Insurance was set up in 1970 and, at the time of the sale, employed 12 people at its single site operation in King's Lynn. The deal means that the Beckett's staff count will rise to over 170.
Beckett has achieved an average annual growth of 20% since being set up 20 years
