New Malden-based Clear Insurance Management has acquired City-based broker Kempster Lobo. Kempster has around £1m of gross written premium, with 75% commercial lines, mainly in food industry risks. Kempster's top 10 clients produce 70% of its income. Two staff will transfer to Clear's offices and Clear expects to announce another acquisition in September which will increase its GWP from £15m to £20m.
