A total of 40 independent intermediaries have had their agenciescancelled for failing to complete an Association of British Insurers' code
compliance form, first mailed to them back in December 1996.
Professional Broking reported last month (page 3) that 61 intermediaries
had been sent cancellation notices by the 48 insurers participating in the
ABI's third party monitoring for ignoring two reminders and a final demand
to complete the ABI's review form.
It transpires that 21 of the 61
