Pye syndicate 962, relaunched by former London & Edinburgh managingdirector David Pye at the beginning of 2000, has secured a £34m increase
in capacity for 2001.
Trading with non-Lloyd's brokers through non-motor service company
Charringtons, Pye 962 will command in excess of £15m written income for
2000, and is forecasting £30m for 2001. Mr Pye said: "This increase in
business has been achieved by adopting a disciplined approach to focused
underwriting."
