Ulster-based financial services company Open + Direct has acquired independent West Midlands broker Footman James & Company.Footman James specialises in cover for motorbikes, private vehicles and classic cars, and is closely associated with enthusiasts' groups such as the Triumph Sport 6, MG, Lotus and Jaguar Enthusiasts' clubs.
The broker has approximately 80 000 customers across the UK, employs around 100 staff and has a net asset value of £250 000.
The acquisition is Open + Direct's third
