QBE has confirmed that Kathy Lisson will join it as chief operating officer from 1 June 2009. The company QBE also confirmed that John Neal will become chief underwriting officer of its European business from 1 June 2009. Neal will take over from Peter Grove, who is retiring in an executive capacity at the end of 2009. Grove will remain on the principal operating boards of QBE in Europe as a non-executive director.
