The Folgate Partnership acquires Markfield Group
Folgate has made its 32nd acquisition by taking over the insurance portfolio of Markfield Group, a subsidiary of business and construction services company Carillion.
Markfield operates full binding authorities for Fleet and Construction insurance, in addition to broking general commercial covers. The business also has a risk management division, including a driver training operation “Safedrive”.The company has grown from being an in-house broker looking after Carillion’s insurance portfolio, to being a major player in the construction and construction related haulage markets by developing an integrated risk management and insurance service for clients.
