Lloyd's has revealed that it will be looking to improve its performance in a bid to counter the threat from rival insurance centres such as Bermuda.

Under the latest version of its rolling three-year plan, the corporation also said it would focus on ensuring its underwriters maintained a good performance in worsening market conditions.

Lloyd's said the insurance industry would most likely experience reducing rates and worsening terms and conditions during the plan period, and "so a major priority
