Financial services firms have enjoyed another quarter of strong growth, but are less optimistic about business in the coming three months, according to the latest Financial Services Survey published by the CBI and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

There was great variation between the different sectors with general insurance companies and brokers experiencing a quiet quarter with a slight rise in profits and a fall in volumes.
