Without insurance we would all be at a loss

The insurance industry needs to work hard on vanquishing its unfair reputation as a boring area to work in, and show what a challenging and interesting industry it can be, argues Peter Elliott

This is a great industry and one we should be proud to work in as regulation, remuneration, distribution, the market cycle and the claims culture all combine to create a dynamic and challenging environment, where only the tough will survive.

I've never understood why some people say that insurance is boring. I guess they must lack imagination and creativity and for those of us involved in this magnificent industry, it's anything but boring.
