The Jelf Group has acquired the Taunton-based operations of RK Harrison Insurance (RKH), together with the recruitment of its insurance team of seven people. The move adds a further annualised £750,000 to Jelf's insurance commission income and will generate earnings before interest, tax depreciation and amortisation margins in excess of 25%. RKH will continue to operate from its Taunton offices under the on-going management of Alan Covey whose previous business, Covey Insurance Brokers, was sold
