Britain's biggest insurer, NU, urged intermediaries worried abouttheir future to get in touch with it in an effort to bring the markettogether and halt the slide of intermediaries going out of business.
NU's director of marketing strategy, Tim Rolfe, said the idea was to actas a facilitator for intermediaries, offering advice and, in some cases,attempting to put intermediaries in touch with those who may have aninterest in merging or acquiring businesses.
