Insurance executives are feeling very confident about their ability to manage risks and opportunities at the onset of the credit crisis, according to a study conducted by Towers Perrin in conjunction with the Economist Intelligence Unit. The survey revealed that 52% of executives from the insurance industry believed they were better able to manage risks and opportunities than their peers, versus 51% of leaders in other financial services and 47% of executives from the banking sector.
