This month's proceedings kicked off with Michael Bright denying that he was aware of the existence of the contentious reinsurance contracts in this case, dubbed contract E, F and H. Under cross examination, he claimed that he had trusted Aon's Terry Masters, and had simply signed the contracts without reading them. However, Andrew Ballie for the prosecution argued that Mr Bright knew exactly what he was signing, and understood the implications of his actions.
