Matthew Pike has been promoted to managing director of Gallagher London. Matthew joined Arthur J Gallagher (UK) (AJG) in 2001 and was instrumental in providing the company with the base for its marine business. In recent years, Matthew has been responsible for the aviation, energy, jewellers block and fine arts divisions. Meanwhile, Des O'Connor has been appointed managing director of the new binders and facilities division at AJG.
