Fortis has joined the Budget Van Insurance provider panel, expanding both its business relationship with the BGL Group, which owns the commercial vehicle product, and its own commercial business as part of its growth plans for 2009. Fortis has already partnered with Junction, BGL Group's affinity division, where it has underwritten a considerable share of Post Office van insurance policies over the last year. Under the new arrangement, Fortis will operate on the Polaris underwriting platform
