I refer to your story last month regarding Royal & Sun Alliance's (RSA) move to establish a regional presence for property underwriting (Insurance Age, September, p6). Why is it that I see an increasing number of insurers making a song and dance in the press about establishing these regional offices? Surely it should be a given that insurers are local and available to brokers, and have these offices populated by those that can make decisions?

I did not see insurers rushing to talk to the press

Peach and owner grow in 2025
