MOJ confirms delay
The delays to the personal injury reforms will likely continue until the end of the month, according to the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
The news follows a meeting on Tuesday between the ABI’s director general Stephen Haddrill and the Undersecretary of State for Justice Bridget Prentice, which was meant to firm up timelines on when the reforms would come out. However, due to the upcoming two-week closure of parliament for a late Easter break, the reforms will get pushed back once again.
“We’re now looking at the end of April. It’s not going to be before,” said ABI spokesman Malcolm Tarling.
