New IIB chief executive appointed

The board of the Institute of Insurance Brokers has announced the appointment of Barbara Bradshaw as its new chief executive following the sudden death of Andrew Paddick.

Announcing the appointment, Graham Gomm, chairman, said: “The board was determined that we should continue to provide the very highest level of service to, and on behalf of, our members.

“During the past five years, the Institute has come increasingly to rely on the team that Mr Paddick and Ms Bradshaw had created, belying any idea that Mr Paddick was the sole voice of the Institute. Ms Bradshaw is the ideal person to move this forward for us.”

Commenting on her appointment, Ms Bradshaw said:

GI AR numbers fall again
