Regulatory 'red tape' is key factor affecting growth, MGAA survey reveals

Regulation is the biggest factor affecting growth prospects, according to a recent survey from the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA).

The first MGAA Matters survey, conducted in partnership with Castel Underwriting Agencies, 70% of respondents cited the cost and level of ‘red tape’ on their businesses as the key factor affecting growth plans over the next three years.
