Biba welcomes suggestion of council tax band H being included in Flood Re
Insurance Age understands the government has been running the rule over including this tax band.
The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has welcomed the prospect of council tax band H properties being included in Flood Re.
Insurance Age understands that the government has been weighing up the possibility of bringing such properties into the fold.
Until now Flood Re has come under criticism from several quarters due its failure to include band H properties.
Both Biba and the British Property Federation have been among the most vocal critics regarding the absence of cover for this
