Zurich's Wainwright and Wing to retire after combined 78 years' service

Zurich's Gary Wainwright and Pete Wing are set to retire after amassing a combined 78 years of experience at the insurer.

Wainwright, director of middle market and specialities since 2003, will stand down at the end of the year after 42 years of service with the insurer. 

Commending Wainwright's career, Dave Smith, commercial broker, managing director, said: "Gary has played a leading role in building the business's strategy and team, and made a major contribution to its success.
