Axa makes final offer to settle Autofocus claims with Accident Exchange
Axa has made a full and final settlement offer in an attempt to end its involvement in the long-running Autofocus litigation.
It is the fourth offer Axa has made to settle all Accident Exchange’s claims relating to Autofocus rates evidence.
The insurer stated that Autofocus had been supplying car hire rate evidence to the majority of insurers in the UK which was subsequently discovered to have been unreliable.
In a statement, Axa said: “In view of the significant number and value of cases in the claim against Axa Corporate Solutions and Axa Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary, a decision was made to investigate
