Products: RSA launches “easy to understand” marine product for non-specialist brokers

RSA has claimed an industry first with the launch of its combined Marine Cargo and Marine Stock Throughput policy.

According to the insurer, 
the product is the first in the marine market not to incorporate institute clauses. Traditional marine cargo 
policies reference the institute clauses which can be difficult for non-specialist brokers 
to decipher.

The policy, the insurer claimed, is particularly suitable for brokers not used to dealing with traditional marine products. There are no eligibility criteria; brokers just need an RSA agency to trade.
